We dine here often and the food is all delicious, freshly made, with quality ingredients served in generous portions. My favorite is the birria and all the unique burria combination dishes. The consomme is so flavorful great for dipping. The presentation of the food is well done, the drinks are delicious served in neat glassware. The variety of costa rican decor in the restaurant is really awesomeall little details down to the handmade wood tucan napkin holders, clock, ceiling decorations and paintings makes the restaurant very inviting and pleasant for dining in. The family that runs the restaurant is also very warm and sweet. Birria pizza in photo must try! Loaded with meat and the flavor is incredible. You will love it. ”

“ Been wanting to stop at this spot for a long time. Today was the day. It was worth the waot and I am excited to try some other dishes. Ordered the Pizza of course and it was full of flavor. Something you dont have everyday. Homemade and made with some love for sure. The sauce that comes with the Pizza is key, has a nice bite to it. “ Fantastic Costa Rican cuisine and coffee! My only regret is not getting the tostones the waiter recommended them but I really wanted to try the yuca fries, which which were fine but then I saw the tostones come out on a plate and they looked so good. The birria quesadilla was very flavorful and turned a few heads from the table next to me. I also ordered two empanadas chicken and beef. The chicken blew the beef out of the water! The beef was still a good empanada, but the chicken paired with the pink sauce was certainly a winning combo. The garlic shrimp, as anyone could guess, were delicious and had true Costa Rican flavor. Cant wait to go back. ”
“ Some of the best tacos Ive had in a while. I stopped in and got a Taco platter to go. I was absolutely blown away by the authentic flavors and freshness of all the ingredients. The Taco platter included 2 steak, 2 chicken , 2 shrimp and 2 fish tacos. My favorite was the steak. It was so tender and seasoned perfect. Came with sides of sauce and I got some fries and fried plantains as well. I will be back to eat in restaurant and get the full presentation of other dishes as they all looked amazing. ”
“ For some reason most places get veggie nachos completely wrong. El Toucans nachos were fantastic. Homemade tortilla chips tasted awesome, even a few days later! Guac and all other toppings were super fresh. Chicken empanadas were very light and delicious. Not over seasoned or greasy. I usually feel bad after eating empanadas but absolutely loved these. Got a veggie burrito to go. Also excellent reheated later. We will be back! ”
